So here’s a little about myself, I grew up in a small town on the shores of Georgian Bay in Ontario, Canada. 
After school, I slugged away at a lumber company delivering building supplies. I spent a few years with the Canadian Armed Forces, including two tours on the island of Cyprus as a Peacekeeper. 

Over the past 32 years, I’ve been a police officer with the Toronto Police Service. During that time I wore many hats which provided a healthy dose of experience. I was an eager rosy cheeked uniform officer patrolling city streets. Soon I became an investigator for many internal units and then a long-term undercover officer. 
Finally, in the last ten years of my career in law enforcement, I achieved the status of a K9 Officer. In this role I became a dog trainer, training three separate dogs to be my working police K9s. At various times all three of my dogs either tracked and apprehended criminals or searched and found a ton of guns and drugs. 
All four of us are now retired from that work and I’ve focused on a deep passion of mine. 
Animal photography is a craft that I’ve spent years honing and I love what I do. 

Growing up and into my adulthood I have always loved animals. I have shared my home with a happy gang of kittens, cats, and dogs. Animals instinctively seem to know just how to mold one’s soul for the better. 
It is a gift and it warms my heart that I get to capture the love we share with them.
